In preparation for the tendering process. Mr. Michael Shannon, Nursing and Midwifery Services Director addressed the Donegal ISA steering group in February and outlined plans for a National Governance Steering Group to be chaired by Sean McGrath (HR Director). The Donegal ISA Steering group met with Mr. Ronan McHugh (National Procurement Office), who was nominated to work with the group to develop the tendering documentation. An Evaluation and Tendering Subgroup has been actively drawing up the Specification Document for an eRostering System for Letterkenny General Hospital, Mental Health Services, Intellectual Disability Services, Older Persons Services and Public Health Nursing in Donegal. Other work undertaken has been an audit of current Rostering processes across the ISA. Nurse/Midwife Managers have completed questionnaires identifying existing Rostering practices and systems.
