HSE Areas include all Hospital Services and Local Health Office services, integrated into one seamless health service for the people living in that area.

Services provided within a HSE Area would include:-

• Acute Hospital Services
• Primary Care Services including General Practitioner, General Practitioner Out of Hours Service, Public Health Nursing, Community Paramedic Services, Speech & Language Services etc.
•  Mental Health Services
• Child Care Services
• Disability Services
• Social Inclusion Services,
• Elderly/Nursing Home Services,
• Dental Services
• Range of allowances including Supplementary Welfare Allowance, Domiciliary Care Allowance, Blind Welfare Allowance, Mobility Allowance etc.
