General Practitioners have been included in this directory because they are a good initial step towards seeking help with a problem. GP's can assess a particular patient's needs and treat accordingly. They can also refer patients to other more appropriate services, if necessary.

Persons who wish to access the Community Based Mental Health services must obtain a letter of referral from their GP.
